7.9Verified guest“The staff were excellent and the prices were great. The building and rooms were nice with a queen bed, and there was plenty of good food nearby. The service was good, and the location was perfect – close to the Sunday market, the best bars, nightlife, and Tha Phae Gate.”
7.9Verified guest“This is a small hotel run by a wonderful family who personally attend to every guest's needs. The design is pleasant, blending contemporary and Lanna architecture. The location is very central, between the Saturday and Sunday walking street markets, both of which are unmissable. It's a convenient walk to most other Chiang Mai highlights.”
7.9Verified guest“The hotel is new and very nice, with a real Thai style. It's in the centre of Chiang Mai, a 10-minute walk from the Night Bazaar and 2 minutes from the Saturday market. The staff are lovely and help with everything, even calling places for you. It's very cheap for the quality. Breakfast is great with 4 options. You can book trips directly at the hotel – they have catalogues and will call anywhere. There's also a place in front where you can get a cheap and quality suit, with staff happy to translate. I stayed 4 days and was really satisfied – new, nice, cheap, Thai style, good food, great position, and excellent staff.”

The bottom line
Anoma Boutique House earns its modest rating through its unbeatable location and genuinely caring staff. It's a solid choice for travellers who want a clean, comfortable base in the heart of Chiang Mai without paying for luxury. The lack of a pool and the basic breakfast are minor trade-offs against the value and hospitality.
